New Orleans Vietnamese Wedding Photography M And J
I love Vietnamese weddings – and not just because I eat so well at them! 😉 The people are always kind, and wonderful, and so much fun, inevitably.
Mai and Joseph got married at St. John’s Catholic Church in New Orleans, and had their reception at  Panda King. Everything was SO beautiful, and the bride and groom were SO gorgeous. Emotions abounded on this wedding day – check out a few of my favorites!
Mai waits patiently as she awaits her turn down the aisle.
Mai was so poised and lovely as Joseph read.
I loved seeing the juxtaposition between the older generation and the new, here. Grandfather took an opportunity for a nap during mass, while other guests were more focused on documenting the events with their phones!
Mai’s mother watches on as her little girl says her vows.
Ushers = also willing to take any opportunity for a nap.
SUCH a beautiful church!
The Hugging of the Parents.
Loved this look between Joseph and his dad.
I loved how expressive and in love these two were. It was impossible to take a bad photograph of them!
Photographing the toasts that are done at Asian weddings is one of my absolute favorites! Everyone is SO happy for the newlyweds, and I love listening to all of the advice given from older generations to the new.
Photobooth shenanigans = always a great photo op!
When the smoke machine turns on and the adults get *just* as excited as the kids.
Apparently, bouquet tosses are taken *very* seriously!
There’s always that *one* guy at every wedding who pulls a Ninja Turtle spin!
