Some days (okay, fine – *most* days), I don’t feel like my job is work – and this Engagement Photography session was a prime example as to why. Lauren and Ed were both just the epitome of why people in the South are so much fun, man – laid-back, and up for anything, and funny, and sweet, and just an overall joy to spend time with. They own property out in the country near where I grew up (which is in the BOONIES, let me tell you, so what were the odds of that?), so it really felt like coming home, spending some time with these two. We played with their dog, we trekked around in the mud, donned rubber boots–like any true country girl and boy should, right?–and also ventured out on a probably-dangerous-but-hey-why-not-give-it-a-go bridge over the nearby bayou.
It was nearly impossible to pick favorites, really, but here you go – my best effort at choosing a few from this Engagement Photography! <3
I love this picture!
Mud, rubber boots, and a log – doesn’t get much more country than that!
When the ring is a family heirloom – you photograph the bling! <3
What’s said at theĀ engagement session, stays at the engagement session. š
