LGBTQ Engagement Photos New Orleans | Chad and Jeff in City Park
When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of βMe too!β be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe.β – AJ Downey
Sometimes, when you meet people, you just *click* from the very first. Chad and Jeff told me that they knew I was “the one” for their engagement session when I swore in my email response to them. π
We started out on the most fantastic note, with that… and it only got better from there!
The three of us met at City Park in the wee hours of the morning, in NOLA. It’s not always the MOST fun thing, waking up early for a photo session… but especially for City Park, it’s such a great idea. Less heat, fewer crowds! We had the whole place to ourselves, it seemed like.
The best photos come from just hanging out, getting to know one another, and having FUN. Engagement photos don’t have to be stuffy. They should be authentic, and genuine, and all about who you are together.
I think we proved that method to be gold here, no?
We laughed together, we told off-color jokes, we cracked up at grumpy streetcar drivers… and made some great memories, really.
From the stately, moss-covered oak trees, to the stone bridge, to an iconic-NOLA streetcar backdrops…we got some kick-ass images together, folks. AND, we’ve officially set a wedding date and locked it DOWN! π
I can’t wait, for realz. It’s gonna be EPIC, and I’m so glad that these guys found me and added me to their tribe.
Enjoy some of my very favorite photos of Chad and Jeff’s engagement photo session in City Park New Orleans!
