I love a good Baton Rouge Proposal Photography story, y’all. And mannnnn, did this proposal deliver on the excitement!
I was so honored when Cameron contacted me and asked me to photograph his proposal to Kaila. We met a few days before the big day to go over details. It was so fun hearing about all of the plans he had, and how much of a surprise it was going to be for Kaila. She had no idea it was coming, and I couldn’t wait to see her reaction!
When the day actually arrived. We were thrown a bit of a curveball when a hoarde of homecoming couples descended on Hilltop to take photos. And, since it was pouring rain at the time, they were all crowded into the spot Cameron had relied upon as his “plan B” spot in case of rain. After a little bit of scrambling, some cajoling, and a bit more waiting things out. We finally pulled it together and gave Kaila the surprise of her life!
I adored Kaila’s reaction – she was so shocked, it was adorable. The images I was able to create with them were absolutely priceless because these two were just so happy. It’s pretty much impossible to take a bad photograph when there’s that much joy on display!
