One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer here in Baton Rouge is getting to spend quality time with my clients before the wedding day. This Bridal Photography at Ashley Manor was no exception!
Did you know that bridal portraits are totally a southern thing? Louisiana brides are pretty special, I guess. 😉 Taking time for bridal portraits is a great way to do a trial run for your hair and makeup! You also get kick-ass portrait to display at your reception. Also, bonus – extra time hanging with me!
We had some killer light at this session, which made for some great images against Ashley Manor’s barn and pretty pond scenery. And I love that Hartley chose sparkly Keds for her wedding shoes – I’m a huge fan of comfort + style! Check out the cute images of her showing off her unique kicks.

I’ve been sitting on these images for months, and it’s been killin’ me, Smalls. I can finally show Hartley off, though! She looked amazing in her wedding dress, and I can’t wait to party with her and her crew tonight at Ashley Manor!
I mean, if you’re going to show off your sparkly wedding Keds, may as well show off a little personality with it!
