Lemme tell you about Bailey and Dustin, y’all. I can’t even explain how much I loved spending the day with these two and their crew. When I say Bailey is “my people”, I mean that I was amazed all day long at how similar we are to one another! She got my “Friends” jokes, we laughed all day long together, and SHE EVEN SUN-SNEEZES JUST LIKE ME!
If you don’t know what a sun sneeze is…it’s a genetic (AND TOTALLY REAL THING, which my husband still doesn’t believe, even after years of marriage to me and my sun sneezes) thing that causes you to sneeze when you walk out into the sun. It’s such a rare thing, it was totally hilarious to me that we BOTH do it. (SO, THERE, HUSBAND).
High five for working with your “people.” It’s the little things. 😉
These two got married on one of the most gorgeous days of all of the days in South Louisiana, at White Oak Plantation. Dustin was SO adorable, misting up a bit while watching Bailey walk down the aisle, and they exchanged vows under a stunning flower arbor in front of all of their friends and family. After the ceremony, we got some stunning portrait images, then partied the night AWAY at the reception, y’all. It was so much fun.
Check out some of my very favorites from the day!

Sewing a pence into the garter! <3
The “looks” that went into this champagne popping – priceless
Loved this emotional reaction of two friends reuniting. <3
I love that the guys wanted to hang out at The Chimes before getting ready!
Superhero socks for the groomsmen!
I adore this moment between Bailey and her dad, just before walking out!
When the flower girl forgets the flowers until she’s already down the aisle! The best! 😉
I love photographing parent reactions during the first dance! So sweet.
A little secret: not one person ever knows “how” to do the twisty-arm-toast-thing. But it’s almost always hilarious, trying to figure it out.
