Let me tell you about these two, guys. I was so honored to be asked to photograph Bailey’s proposal to Hannah a few months back, and got to know them then. They are SO much fun. Sweet, and funny, and laid-back, up for anything – and above all, totally nuts about one another. Bailey’s a fly fisherman for Orvis, and Hannah has totally taken up that mantle and puts half of Bailey’s clients to shame (but, shhh – let’s leave them their ego, shall we?). I was so excited when they were willing to get up for a dawn engagement session with me! The temperature was perfect, humidity low, and check out this light! <3
Photographing early in the day for your portrait session has several advantages. The temperatures are much lower than they are going to be later in the day, when heat has had time to build up. The crowds of people to dodge are much less, AND the mosquitoes aren’t awake yet!
And, as we all know, here in Louisiana – those mosquitoes are absolutely no joke. It’s not a lot of fun having to run for your life from the insane bugs we have here!
So, the next time you’re considering your portrait session time – maybe consider setting your alarm time a little bit early. Take these guys’ word for it, it’s worth it!
When you tell them to dip…man, I love these two!
