I was so excited to find the hidden gem of Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville to take Jodie’s bridal photos. I had no idea it was even there, but I will definitely be returning soon! The owners were wonderful, warm and friendly, and the grounds and home were absolutely gorgeous. Jodi and I got some stunning bridal photography done in some stunning light, and had a blast doing it – what more could a girl ask for?
Greenwood Plantation offers accommodations for both indoor and outdoor sessions for bridal photos. This is really handy, given how unpredictable our weather is here in Louisiana! Jodi decided to take advantage of the indoor portion of the house, as well as utilizing the front porch. Who doesn’t love a good Southern porch for their bridal session?!
We learned lots about the home and history of the grounds, all while having a blast shooting together and getting to know each other.
