I’m so excited to show off one of my favorite family photography sessions today. I met Katie when I photographed her wedding a few years ago, now, and I knew immediately that we were going to be friends. And, sure enough – here we are years later, having not only remained in touch and talking almost every day, but also working together again! When he asked me to photograph her family when everyone was in for the holidays, I was ALL over it. It was so much fun hanging out with their whole crew and becoming part of the family for a day. Katie’s sister Karen even sent me home with a LARGE amount of food for my family, after baking for most of the morning! (For the record, I will never turn down food, haha!)
We had a blast feeding goats and horses, playing with cats, playing games, getting to know Cosmo the robot, and learning all about star charts and home-made telescopes. I felt slightly outsmarted (okay, a lot outsmarted), but I loved every second of it.
