I love me a man with a plan, folks! Alex called me a few weeks ago to ask me to help hatch his surprise proposal photography plan. Asking his girlfriend of 6 years, Alex (yes, they have the same first name!) to marry him. And YOU ALREADY KNOW I was totally on board – proposals, especially ones that are a HUGE surprise, are one of my favorite things to photograph. So, I did my proposal photography ninja thing, waiting for Alex to get Alex in juuuust the right spot before popping the question. And, holy cow, was she shocked! Of COURSE, she said yes – and then the family and friend floodgates opened! Both sets of families, plus all their friends came storming out onto the balcony to congratulate the newly engaged couple. I loved seeing just how happy Alex was (both of them, really) and seeing them share that joy with all of the most important people in their lives. I can’t wait to work with them again soon!
