Gay Engagement Photographer in New Orleans | Chris and Andrew

Y’ALL. This gay surprise proposal is the stuff that DREAMS are made of!

When Chris contacted me a few months ago and told me that he was planning to pop the question to his boyfriend while they were visiting New Orleans, I was *in*! They would be visiting on vacation, and he thought that NOLA would be the perfect place to ask the man he loved to marry him. And of course, they wanted photos to commemorate this huge moment in their lives.

Right about then is when I started getting alllll up in my feelings. 😭

New Orleans is one of the most iconic, romantic cities in the world. And City Park made for a perfect backdrop for this surprise proposal!

The dripping Spanish moss, the historic bridges, and the nearby Cafe Du Monde just screamed New Orleans. What better place to get an “I do” out of the most important person in your world?!

It all began here, and I was so excited to be a part of this with these guys. After Chris popped the question (and got a “yes”, natch), we took a few minutes for some beautiful proposal photographs to commemorate this iconic moment in this iconic location.
