I’ve known this family for a lot of years – and their Birth Photography story of welcoming Baby Liam into the world is such an amazing one, I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. This child TRULY is a miracle baby – once told they could never have a another child, Will and Kellie were surprised to say the very least when they were told that they were expecting this guy here. And, to make things even more special, the fact that this little one was a boy meant that dad Will was able to pass on a family name that had been a part of his history for hundreds of years!
Despite having to be born a little early and serving a short joint in the amazing NICU at Woman’s, Baby Liam came out healthy, beautiful and ready to greet the world – squealing like a teeny tiny, 5lb 1oz little piglet.
Every birth is a miracle, but some leave you just a tiny bit breathless with awe at how wonderful and amazing life is – and how fragile. This whole family prayed so hard and for so long for this guy – and I’d venture to say that he was more than worth the wait. <3
Big Sister was very excited to meet her brother – but not so big that she didn’t need a little assurance (and a selfie or two) from Mom that everything was going to be okay.
Kellie’s mom takes one last moment to give her a little mama love before going into surgery.
I totally caught Will demonstrating how not-so-sure he was about watching the actual surgery, oh yes I did. 😉
If this kid isn’t the mirror image of his big sister, I don’t know who is!
The little in-between moments. <3
Never has their been parents more thankful for a healthy baby!
I loved seeing how absolutely overjoyed Big Sister was to meet her brother!
Those tears. <3 Mama couldn’t stop crying, and I couldn’t blame her!
