Another wonderful Baton Rouge Wedding Photography at The Gatehouse in the books!
I love this place for so many reasons, but chief among them is that the atmosphere is so intimate–and every little detail so well-done–that everyone can just focus on each other during the wedding day. No fretting over details–just a wonderful day spent with friends and family, kicking off the rest of your life together.
I’m so glad I got to be a part of this day with these two and all of their loved ones – it was magical, and perfect, and sweet, and so much fun! There were lots of little moments sprinkled in throughout this day, and I felt so privileged to be asked to capture them for this crew.
Here are a few of my favorites from this Baton Rouge Wedding Photography wedding!

I was obsessed with this bride’s henna design! I love that she was able to incorporate her culture and history into this day in such a beautiful way.

Joe did not disappoint with his first look reaction! Starry-eyed – I love it.

The bride’s mom, y’all! I loved her. She was joking and laughing all day, and how adorable is her smile!?

Joe’s kids – I didn’t spent a ton of time with them, in the grand scheme of things, but it was juuuuust enough for me to realize that they are rarely serious. And those are my kind of people, y’all.

How perfect did the bride look in that dress?!

I love that Joe played a little game of peekaboo at his bride when they were *supposed* to saying a little prayer.

I may or may not be just a teeny bit obsessed with chandeliers. There are worse vices to have, right?

Cutting up like teenagers, those two!

Marry someone who makes you laugh – that’s the key, right there.

I loved Joe’s kids watching and getting just a little joked up, here.

Annnnnd, here come the tears! #TeamCrying

When you’re short, and the twisty-toast-thing is kinda problematic.

This Bride’s. Dad. Was. Adorable. Future fathers of the bride: take notes!

The party. ‘Tis started!
